Chad Love is the founder and CEO of DoorMetrics and is no stranger to the velvet ropes of South Beach where he has spent nearly the past 2 decades working in Nightclub and the Hotel industry. Aside from working nearly every position available, Love has spent the latter decade managing some of South Beach’s most famous multi-million dollar hot spots such as SkyBar, Opium Garden, Prive, the Rooftop of the Gansevoort Hotel and The Soho Beach House's Bar program to name a few.
While managing everything from mega-nightclubs to high-traffic hotel bars, Love gained a tremendous amount of experience and realized a huge opportunity for new technology in the Food and Beverage industries. This experience shaped Love's vision for the DoorMetrics ID Scanner system and is helping drive the company to new heights and other related industries.
Bart has spent most of his professional career working in tech and start-ups and while an undergrad at Georgetown University, he developed some of the first early web hyperlinking and marketing for newly connected clients. After graduation, he used his online experience to craft the first direct-to-consumer sales for a computer peripherals manufacturer, while managing the company’s marketing communications. Bart was also instrumental in raising funding for a broadband wireless company at the turn of the millennium, and was active in securing frequency and licenses internationally for that platform. Bart was able to apply his Diplomacy degree and his technology background to leading the creation and operation of the European division of a $170M IT services provider from London in the mid-2000s, and was able to land new business from the likes of AOL Europe, General Motors, Morrisons, and Tele2.
Bart joined the DoorMetrics team in early 2014 breathing some new life into the company. He is active in leading financing efforts, Marketing, and developing institutional sales. He speaks English, Swedish and French, and is also spearheading our European expansion.
Similar to Love, Manuso has spent nearly his entire life around the Food & Beverage industries and got an early start at 8 years old helping his family with their 5 family-owned restaurants. After graduation at Ohio State, he traveled to Greece to help another family member open and manage his hotel and restaurant. After 3 years, he came back to the States to help his father open a new seafood restaurant. Manuso decided it was time for departure from the restaurant business and made a radical change by getting into the music business. He started out managing small bands but quickly got involved with new projects and soon traveled to New York. It was there that Manuso met Grammy winning producer, Michael Barbiero who ended up producing one of his bands first albums in 2003. Manuso then went on tour with several bands as the road manager and worked shows that included bands like Saliva, Super Joint Ritual, 3 Doors Down, Shinedown, and Kid Rock just to name a few. From there, Manuso partnered with a few guys in Texas and opened a couple successful nightclubs in Dallas.
Manuso joined the DoorMetrics team in early 2014 as angel investor and additionally having an active daily role in the company’s business development. His vast experience and numerous contact lists have quickly proved to be instrumental in securing new business relationships.
